Range Finder

I'm curious as to what is the best bang for your buckrangerfinder. I will be using this only for archery and do not need one that goes out to 1000yrds. Any input would greatly be apprieciated. Thanks

RE: Range Finder

i have the bushnell sport 450 its okfor $150.00 but i wish i would of put another $50.00 with it and got a nikon pro staff the clarity on the bushy is not that great or the magnafication i think the farthest i ever ranged anything was 227yds. with it not that you would never shoot that far with a bow but if your on a fence line like i like to hunt a few times a year more magnafication power would be nice with em to for looking accross a field with em.........Ted

RE: Range Finder

I got into this mode recently. My Leica LRF works fine for long range rifle shooting, but doesn't give accurate readings at bow ranges - generally reads a couple of yards less than the actual distance. After a bunch of research, I bought the Bushnell Scout. It is very light and compact; and agrees with the steel tape at distances out to 70 yards.
