Therma Cell spooking deer?
 

I want to get a therma cell for next year but a buddy of mine said his spooked deer. Do they spooke deer or not? Thanks for any help.

First off, the ThermaCell is Bada$$! I have had many deer downwind of me from September to January and they have yet to wind me. I promise you they will spook from you swating those damn skeeters before they smell the ThermaCell. Im from Wisconsin and normally dont need it in November when I go back to hunt the rut but I wont go into the South Georgia woods without it. I hope this helps

I have not used the Thermacell Deer hunting, but I have used them Bear hunting. Bears are very leary of anything strange at a bait. They worked Great for me and Bears did not seem to notice anything new. I would not hesitate to use a Thermacell where bugs were a problem. They Flat out work!!

I have used a Thermacell for the past 2 seasons. I have killed 5 deer and about a dozen feral hogs during that time. The thermacell was on during every hunt but one. It was freezing that day. I won't go in the early season woods without one.
