Bowtech handles

Hey all of my fellow Bowtech brothers and sisters! Does the original handle that comeswtih the bow originally get too cold to handle in cold weather? I'm only asking because of the metal in between the laminated side plates on the front and back seem like they would?

Yeah? Neah?

When it gets that cold, I'm wearing gloves anyway...For years and years, I worestandard Army wool liners but this past season I picked up some Polartech Powerstretch Liner Gloves from Cabela's... every bit as warm, and looks a bit better to my eye as far as matching the rest of my outfit and accessories.

So you find that the gloves are more then enough then?

Thank you for the expert advice Greg! I just checked them out on Cabelas website and they look like they will seal the deal. It is Greg right?

Yep, I find they're more than enough... I wore them down into the lower teens this past January.

I've never had a problem. My bow stays on the hanger until crunch time is close. I rarely wear gloves, but if I do I wear the UA underliners. Great feel and just enough to keep my hands from getting cold.

The metal on the Bowtech making contact with my hand wasn't an issue last year and I shot all winter outside with only my Mossy Oak Pass Throughs on my left hand.

You might ck into Bowtech's new heated grips, but I have never got cold hands off the riser before my feet got too cold to last out the day anyhow,LOL.

Yeah, I looked at that but decided to pass. It's like that new hot dot sight, I looked at that too but decided to pass on that also. Too much technology takes the huntin' out of the huntin' IMHO. Besides, I like the way my grip looks and feels now. "The car's fine Harry, don't change a thing" ~ Days of Thunder
