If you like Sims, and you like long stabilizers, check out the 7 inch S-coil. I just saw it for the first time the other day at Vanderbilts and bought it. I love it!!!!

RE: Stabilizer for my DXT

mtlheadhunter and DXT shooters.....

I am in the process of purchasing a new bow and have shot the DXT, Katera, PSE Dream Season, and the general and have likes/dislikes with each. If I were to rank eachbefore shooting I would have put mathews lastsimply dueto the fact that Ihavebeen pressed by many to purchase one. After shooting I have the DXT at the top but have a few concerns that maybe you guys can either help me out or ease my worries.

Short axle to axle causes a few concerns. Longer length ofcontact time between arrow and string so lessforgivingat longerdistances, anyone notice a drastic change or does this have everything to do with shooter steadiness?

Also due to theshort A2A did anyone have a difficult time adjusting to the anchor point or have an issue with the angle of the peep sight?

Appreciate any input.

I have a 29 inch draw DXT and I shoot consist groups at 40 yards. I dont shoot any ferther then that because I have a three pin set up. It is a really great bow and it is more forgiving then you would think.

Buckmarken29,

I have shot this bow at 50 yards and could not be more impressed! Its very hard to believe that a bow this small is that accurate at long distances. I couldnt tell you how it shoots at 70 or 80 yards but I will not hesitate to take a shot at 50-60 yards if everything is right. The bow I had before this one was the Switchback. I do not notice any difference in the way I anchor or the the angle change of the peep. At first, I thought it would take alot for me to get used to since the Switchback is 4 inches A2A longer. My first day with this bow I was driving tacks 20-30 yards. I am very steady with this bow and I can promise you that deer are gonna receive death and carnagecourtesy of my DXT. I promise you, if you buy it you will LOVE IT!! I couldnt ask for more out of a bow. If you have any other questions than feel free to ask. Hope this helps man.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I plan on trying the DXT in the next week with a similar setup as I plan to use this season.

Everyone that I have known that has had other stabilizers has instantly switched to a KYBER when they have had the chance to put one on their bow and shoot with it. KYBER has also expanded their line this year and produced a second model which is reasonably priced. I reccommend to anyone to goto a shop with what you shoot now and trya KYBER and you will be impressed with tighter and consistent groups

I have really liked my SIMS S coil on my Switchback XT. That is what my buddy has on his DXT.

RE: Stabilizer for my DXT

Well, I received my Specialty Archery 10 inch stab in the mail last week and have been shooting the crap out of it. I tell you what, thats one awesome stabilizer. I didnt think it was possible for me to really notice a difference in the way I shot without it. Boy was I wrong. This thing is worth every penny. Its about $85 which is alot for a stabilizer, but Im glad that made the purchase. Plus the girl likes it since it "matches" the Lost camo pattern as my DXT. Double win situation, how can you beat that!
