Default custom strings

I've read some things saying u can gain speed with some custom strings. I was wondering if u guys had any real world examples? Would they be an upgrade from a winners choice string for example? Any drawbacks (durability or stretch)?

I gained 9 fps switching to Vapor Trail. 268 to 277. I was extremely happy.

Yes you can gain some speed useing some Custom strings.

We build ours with BCY 452X Cables, and a BCY 8125 string!! The 452 Gives you the stability in your cams due to it not stretching until late in your strings life (ruffly 10,000 shots) the 8125 is where the speed comes from but the downfall to 8125 is it will stretch! When we build the strings out of 8125 we let them stretch at about 350 lbs. for Ruffly a Hour to get the stretch out of them. But the same as the 452 once you get numerous shots on a Set it will start stretching but only slightly!!

Are you having trouble with winners choice? I had one put on my Vectrix last year and it worked great just a little pricy...I have a Katera XL now and still have a distict dislike for the fuse string but I'm trying Vapor Trial this time...picked colored, ordered two days ago and it's on my door step tonight...not bad. I'm going down to the bow shop on Sat. to put them on $88.00 shipped for string and cables

I needed to replace thembecause I had moved my peep quite a bit without using a press and really frayed up that area and thought I should get a new one. My own fault. I ordered some rock solid strings just to give um a try and see how they compare. The price seemed good. Hopefully get them next week.

I had my Vapor trail strings and cables put on today. So far pretty nice..no peep creep etc. One thing I did notice is that the cables seem to be smaller/thinner less strand. Feels quicker but a tiny bit louder. We'll see how they hold up but for 88.00 shipped for string and cables in two days isn't a bad start.
