New Lore Stabilizer?

I just bought the new Lore Stabilizer from Carolina Archery (Trophy Ridge) and it is made to bend at the knuckle for storage. I'm not sure but it is so loose that unless your bow is perfectly upright the stabilizer will fold up. Also, it did not screw all the way into the riser. Can anyone shed some light on this stabilizer?
