ARROW PENATRATION ACC'S OR MAXIMA'S
 

has anyone ever tested both these arrows to see which one has the best penatration or better flight i have shot the carbon express maxima's and liked them but i was shooting them a little light around 361gr i will be shooting these arrows around 410gr. of a pse x force at 66.5# any help here would be appreciated both arrows are about the same cost.......Ted

The ACC is the best quality arrow, but CX Maximas are the best all carbon arrow I have shot. Differencein penetration between the 2 would be minimal all else being equal. If these arrows are the same price you are either getting ripped on the Maximas or getting a deal on the ACC's. I know I'm selling ACC's around a $130 a dozen for shafts and the Maximas run $107 a dozen.

I've killed deer w/ both, complete pass thru's with both. As far as penetration, it's a moot point. One is no better than the other. As far as which is the better arrow, and which should you pick? Flip a coin.

These are both really good arrows. For penetration in a hunting situation, however, I would suggest you look at the Axis FMJ. A slippery shaft with small diameter and medium weight . . . . these are great hunting arrows.
