RE: Elite Synergy XT
I know they are just about identical in profile to the GTO, slight machining difference in the riser (in how they machine out the holes) and different cams according to my local dealer.
I did shoot a few elites a couple months ago (not sure which ones, not the GTO) shot alot of bows that day and the two elites I did shoot paled in comparison to the 3 bowtechs I shot (general, 82nd, and guardian) in both draw cycle and hand shock. Probably why I didn't really pay attention to what the bow names where, they did not feel good to me. I do want to shoot the GTO, to explore all options, but as of right now, it will probably come down to a bowtech or a pse x-force. |
RE: Elite Synergy XT
Well I have shot the general and did like it but i am looking for something differe4nt from what every one else is shooting. I dont know if you new this or not but the guy that designed the bowteck bows married the own of martin bows daughter and is know the owner of elite archery and is has designed all of those bows. so there is some bowtech designs in his bows

RE: Elite Synergy XT
The Synergy is an excellent choice IMHO.
I have an '07 , but the new '08's have an upgraded cam w/ the same speed and a smoother draw cycle. No bumps , just a nice smooth pull. It's a binary cam that's easy as H*** to tune . Excellent thin grip and holds better than my Black Ice did. The wall is rock solid. I've only had mine for 2 months and it sold me on the Elite's to the point I ordered a GTO. If you can shoot one...and that can be a problem finding one. You'll probably go home w/ it. The only complaint I have is it takes some tuning to get the IBO out of it. I did get mine to 334IBO w/ some good qualified help. There's a sweet spot in the cams and it took some cable twisting to find it. If you have an afternoon to spend with a chrono and a press,it's worth it. P.M. me if you want any more info. |
