The best new arrows
 

I am fixing to break out the old legacy and start shooting. Its been a while (3 yrs) since I have bowhunted and I cannot find my arrows. What are some of the new arrows on the market? or your favorite? I prefer carbon unless there are something new. I dont even remeber what i use to shoot but they had a slick finish and made no noise against my rest and i liked them. Thanks for your help

Check out a new-to-the-consumer company called Victory Archery; they made all of the arrows for Gold Tip and Blackhawk before that relationship went south. Since deciding to sell the line themselves since they already possessed all the necessary equipment, the shafts have received very high remarks from consumers.

Trophyridge has a line coming out that is pretty innovative. Id deffinetly give them a look also.

Ok now I have a whole new problem, I assume GPI is grain per inch? The heavier, the better they fly in wind and penetrate? The lighter, the flatter they shoot? What is the difference in spine values? I see 0.5, o.35, 0.4, what the best for what application? thanks

click on the tech button on the top of the page, then click on the sizing chart and then look up your draw length and bow weight and it will tell you which arrow you need.

Or just post your draw weight (should get it actually measured), draw length, and point weight. This sometimes gets a little confusing since one arrow manufacturer will designate a given arrow spine as a "400" and another will call it a "250".

ok, ill give you two answers, one if you looking for a more exspensive arrow take a look at the full metal jackets from easton, since aluminum is the ruest flying and carbon doesnt bend this combineds both technologies. but they are expensive, so if your looking for a cheeper carbon i recomend gold tip pro hunters thats what i shoot

Still like my Beman ICS Hunters. They have an elite series that has a straightness of .001.

Arrows That are my Favorites. ACC's, FMJ's, CX Maxima, CX Maxima Hunters, and I have some of the new CX Aramid Kevlar shafts but I have not fletched them yet. The Carbon Express Maxima line have been the best all carbon arrows I have shot.

What draw length, arrow length and poundage are you shooting? As Greg said, the tech chart has yet to be updated with the 08 information.
