Guardian with short draw length
 

I am thinking about getting my 13 year old son a guardian in 25 inch draw length 50-60 lbs. What does everyone think of this bow and will I be able to have it grow with him up to say 29 inches?

I would be interested in some input as well. How smooth would those full size cams be at the shorter draw lengths?
Harp-Have you considered the Equalizer for your son?

While the Equalizer is a great short draw choice, I have a friend that is shooting a Guardian at 25"/50#. He loves it!! In fact last year he sold his other 4 bows he was impressed by the Guardian so much. Either would be a good choice and allow for quite a bit of growth.

His friend has an equalizer that he has shot. My problem is the last bow I bought him (a Trykon sport) has 2.5 inches of adjustment. He has outgrown it already and I bought it in October. He went from 23 DL to 25/25.5 in that time. I would like to get a full draw bow as soon as I can and realized that the Guardian adjusted all the way down to 25 inches.

The Guardian is a Good choice.

The Guardian is not a smooth drawing bow comparitively..... especially compared to the Equalizer!

the guardian has a module that adjust to smooth draw, so that covers that the bicam system is from bowtech and has a no timing technology, also it is an adjustable draw length, so yes the guardian is a very good choice, but if ur open to suggestions i recomend the tribute or black ice

The Guardian only has the one type of mods and they areconsidered a speed mod.

I think the 2008 guardians have both smooth and fast.

Not according to my spec sheets. Not saying they could not have had an inline change but if they have I have heard nothing of it.
