As you can read there are bows and there are bows and most a better today than ever before and like someone said goout shoot them all literially. Some web sites tend to be heavy over one manufacturer or another but hit the archery shops and ask questions and be a pest until you are satisfied. The archery leaders will be at most good probow shops like Hoyt, Mathews and Bowtech and others. Go have fun and don't rush in to it and get lots of advice but once you do remember things change from year to year.
