You can't go wrong with muzzys, even 5 shot will agree with that. It's one of the toughest heads out there. By the way which muzzy do you shoot that only has a one inch cutting width because both the 100&125 have 1 3/16 cutting width. elknut1.

The four blade muzzy, in 100 grain, is a 1" cutting diameter. That fourth blade is devastating!

I really think all the heads you listed are excellent. I am more of a fixed blade head man myself and Muzzy and Magnus are a couple of my favorite brands. I will probably be using the 4 blade 100 grn Muzzy this year. I am sure their will be a test head or two in the quiver though. I would rather have two many choices than not enough, I think? LOL

A broadside deer at 30yds 74lb KE, muzzy broadheads, you'll with out a doubt go clean through provided you have a well tuned bow. Last year I shot a spike elk with 69lb KE muzzy broadheads 125grn with a complete pass through at 28yds through both shoulders, not shoulder blade. Elk went 40yds. elknut1.

Get a pass through on the &quot;shoulder&quot;?

Hit the shoulder area, and you may get a pass through. Hit the scapula itself...Unless you get lucky and go through one of two &quot;thin&quot; spots...NOT! :)
