Default QAD Ultra-Rest Pro Series HD vs Spot Hogg Whammy

I'm looking at buying either the QAD Ultra-Rest Pro Series HD or the Spot Hogg Whammy. I've seen the video comparison of the Whammy and other leading drop away rests on Spot Hogg's site and the the Whammy gets a much faster drop, which means longer arrow stabilization. However, I love the thought of the complete containment of the QAD.

Anyone try both or have experienced opinions in which might be the better purchase? I'll be shooting 3D, as well as hunting, using a PSE bow with 295 fps.

I use a QAD Ultra on a Mossy Oak X shooting around 270fps with 100gr Muzzy's. Its my first drop away and I love it. Arrow flight is awesome. Dont know bout the other rest but I really like my QAD. The complete containment is what sold me as it replaced a Whisker Biscuit.

Both my bows have QAD's. Love that containment and they perform flawlessly.

I don't know about the Whammy rest, but I have just the QAD hunter rest ($50) and LOVE IT! It is my first drop away rest as well, and really improved my groups compared to the WB. I also wanted to keep the full containment feature that I had with the WB. I had my arrow fall off of an old restat the wrong time once, and that was enough. Full containment is all I will use anymore for the peace of mind it gives me.

I just picked up the QAD Ultra Rest Pro and the pro shop should have it all set up today for me.
I purchased it for all of the reasons listed above... It is the best of both worlds

Let me know what you think once you've had a chance to throw some arrows through it!

Thanks

I have the QAD hunter rest and it sucks but I have the 50$ one maybe the pro rest is better I don't know.
The problem that I have with this rest is that I have vane contact because it's to slow for a marquis[:@]

I have heard that it is not good for super fast bows.
I have to go back to the pro shop tomorrow... I am having trouble getting it paper tuned correctly. Maybe it is the mechanics of the way I shoot, but they are doing a couple of things for me tonight.
I will let you all know how I make out tomorrow.

I'm taking the Schaffer off my General and putting on a Whammy. I'll let you know how it works.
