I had a friend call me last night asking about a used bow he just bought. The bow is a hoyt excel. I have not heard of an excel, I have heard of the excel cams. Does any one know about this model, what year it was made, and the quality. I assume he had mistaken the model, he insists its an excel. Im not real familiar with hoyts, so he could be right for all I know.

I can`t remember when they were made, but hoyt did make an excel.
I think they were a lower end bow for hoyt.
