RE: bow target
If you don't need the target to stop broadheads, the Morrell bag targets are great.

RE: bow target
Not to disagree with everyone else but i have had a black hole target for 2 years and have had pretty good luck with it.Shoot probably on average 350 shots a week. I just use it for feild tips so i guess i cant tell you how well it stops broad heads but like any target you shoot broad heads at you will be buying another one soon. I shoot a 72# bow and it stops them just fine but you will probably want to paint a five dot on the backside so you dont focus all of your shots in one area. The arrows are easy to remove also. With that said the only other target i use is a 3d so i cant honestly say whether one target is better than the other but i know the black hole does a good job for the money.

RE: bow target
what about that bag called (the theird hand rag bag)?
|
RE: bow target
The Black Hole would be a great target if your looking for a target that is great for field points and still shootthe occasionalBH into it to make sure they are flying right. You only need to buy one target instead of two.

RE: bow target
You know? For $40 I wouldn't buy a target at all. I'd find a good local archery club and join it. Then you could shoot their targets. Along the way you're likely to get involved, meet some new friends, and pick up a lot of good free advice if you ask the right people. That generlly means the better 3D or target shooters. Who knows, you might even find a coach that can help you, hands-on.

RE: bow target
went and got a (carbon giant) target to day and so far it's a pretty good target, it stops arrow's good, at 4 feet it stopped my arrow and it only went half way in, but I'm only pulling 63 lbs
