I managed to find a pic of the soon to be released hostage pro. I'm intrigued enough to give one a try.

I think it's just the angle but the whole thing looks like it's made out of plastic to me...

I can't tell from the pic, but it would be a good idea if the brushes were individually adjustable so you could adjust it for arrow diameter. It looks like the other tuning adjustments are there.

They are!........those slots are angled so that as you move them back and forth they actually move in and out in relation to the arrow shaft. You can customize the bristles to fit any shaft from 2512 all the way down to the skinnies Axis style shaft.

And it's machined aluminum!

you should review the test huntersfriend.com did on the orginal. although the old one was not aluminum, it wasnt plastic either. it was actually a polymer similair to what glock pistols are made of. even though it was advanced I think the perception that it was only "plastic" hurt sales, thus the change.
