I shot Mathews bows for 6 years and I think they are a quality bow. I also shot the Black Ice quite a bit last summer. IMO the Black Ice is one of the top single cam bows currently on the market

Shooting a Mathews Switchback now, moving to a Diamond Black Ice soon. Both are good bows, buy whatever oneyou like better.

Black Ice is smoother drawing and more quiet and recoil free plus a great grip....
