RE: Piston Point broadheads
Buckbomb, They are what i killed my buck with this year and I have to say I loved them!! If you go to the feild journals and look under Todd Prignitz you will see all the test he ran on them, and I must say they came through with flying colors!! Walt

I have taken 1 buck and 2 does with these heads and they have performed great. Good blood trails and short recoverys. They will be in my quiver next season.

RE: Piston Point broadheads
Dang it Buckbomb! You have stirred up my curiosity again with what looks like another great product for me to spend money on. thanks for the link you provided. I have one question though. Were these broadheads on the market before or after the Rage line of broadheads? It seems like these new mechanicals are all becoming rear opening.....and for great reasons.
thanks! |
RE: Piston Point broadheads
kthiltgen, i am not sure whether they were out before or after the rage but yeh this new stuff they are comin out with is SWEET guess were all going to have to spend more money ha ha

RE: Piston Point broadheads
No kidding.....all these SWEET new toys are going to add up, but the more success we have in the field using these great new products should outweigh the expenses. Also, i am glad there is a sight like this where we can find out these new products and the opinions on how they are performing. Hunting.net and the people in here have helped me out a lot and I am relatively new with the sight. A big thanks to everyone in here that shares experiences and opinions, it really is appreciated!

RE: Piston Point broadheads
Surefire has come out with a broadhead very similar to the piston-point and it will not require the use of a rubber-band. The only thing I did not like aboutt the surefire is the point where it flares out, seems to me that it would lose kinetic energy...........
