Compared to my 07 Tribute with STS it definitely is quieter. I have never had the chance to shoot a Guardian so can't comment on that.

I don't think there is anything else on the market that can beat it is quitness and lack of vib/shock. Yes I have shot it.

The General takes noise and vibration to a new low. Just when I thought there would never be a bow quieter or more shock free than the Guardian (which I still Love) ey introduce the General

Same here. It is the quietest, most shock and vibration bow I have ever owned or shot. The shot feel really is quite amazing. Take a gander at the little mini-review I did of it and some of the Diamond models.....

I just got in my new General and can't believe how quiet and vibration free it is.......The only thing that you feel in the bow is the arrow leaving the rest....

I concur with all the above, I never shot a quieter and shock free bow than Matt's Guardian last year, then this year I received the General and everyone that has shot my General simply says WOW. It's truly...well wow.

I just shot one tonight. It is smooth with no shock and just sits in your hand after the shot. I was only getting 268fps. with 400g/inch hunting arrows but I'm not sure if that will deter me from buying one. It does bring archery to a new level.

I just got my new General and it is the smoothest and quietest bow I know. The only thing that you can hear is the arrow leaving the string.....
