RE: blind problems?
Well my biggest problem is that I have had so much fun using my DOUBLE BULL T2 blind that I havn't used my treestands hardly at all. They are collecting dust. They are easy to use, comfortable, and very effective for bowhunting. I wouldn't trade mine for the world.

RE: blind problems?
I use the ameristrip Doghouse for Turkey and deerthis blind is excellent for cold weather helps to keep the chill off and with a coleman tent heater you can get quite cozy in them.

RE: blind problems?
I have an Ameristep Doghouse as well and I agree. I have used it on many occasions this past year when I normally would have just put a treestand up. It is a very well made blind that is easy to use and inexpensive to boot!
I wouldn't go using a heater in one though... |
RE: blind problems?
I have been huntin turkeys from my Double Bull for about 8 years now and simply "LOVE IT"!
The only problem that I have had has been with what to do with my bow when calling. I like a box or slate call and need both hands to call with! I tried the bow holder that Double bull sells but it is to big to pack in and out with out it being a real pain in the a$$. I tried stuffing it into the sack that came with the blind and it poked a hole in that. I then decided to build my own bowholder that will break down into a small easy to pack item. The "Stealth Bowholder" was born, its easy to pack along and you can put it in a small fanny pack or even the leg pocket of your cargo style huntin pants. With just a 1/4 of a turn they snap apart, no screws or nuts to loose! It will have your bow standing there at the ready, with the arrow nocked and comes in left or right handed models. They are built out of cold rolled steel and tig welded, then powder coated for a durable finish. You can check them out at www.stealtharchery.com |
