RE: A tale of four bows…..

Thank you for the comments gentleman.

I feeled compelled to comment on this issue of "upgrading". It is very true that upgrading every year to a new model does not result in any huge gains in one area or another. These four bows compare entirely with many of the other recent Bowtech and Diamond offerings. What they do offer is a bit of refinement in one area or another. For an example, if you were to compare the Victory mentioned above with the Marquis I think you would find them very similar overall with only slight differences in certain shooting characteristics. The need for an upgrade in this case might then boil down to "want" instead of need.

Much the same could be said for comparing one of these bows with likes of the Tribute or Allegiance. However, I would love to hear comments from those who own those two bows after they have shot the General. It truly has an amazing shot feel. I have never shot a bow quite like it. One could argue though that it does produce its unique shot feel at a cost to weight and speed but both are marginal negatives in my opinion.

Thank you again for the comments guys. I love talking about these bows.

Thanks guys. Much appreciated.

As for my "job", I have a hard time considering it as such with how much fun it can be at times. ;)

Sag,

Glad to see you posting. I had a feeling I might pull some of the "ol' guys" out of the woodworks.

Great job, Frank!

Over here, it is more like home. Kinda slow most of the time, but your bow reports are greatly missed.

Thanks Jeff. I try to do them as often as time and the family allow. Admittedly, I have not been as "into" doing them until this year. I am really excited about this year's lineup. Lots of great bows and only one set of arms to shoot....;)

Great report Frank. I've been shooting my Marquis quite a bit lately. Shoot it more. You may need to change the accuracy ratings. Mine's a tack driver. I haven't been able to shoot the General yet. I need to reassemble it after trying to put in a peep. :(JK. :D
