I am a huge fan of two knives. First is the Buck Zipper. The blade is 4 1/4 inches and it comes with a sturdy brown leather sheath. The one i have has a nice wooden handle and extremely sturdy blade. I wear it pretty much whenever i am outdoors, whether that be hutning, fishing or just scouting around on the woods. Ive had it for about 7 or 8 years. Its like new and i useit a ton. I dont have the model with the gut hook, but it is availible. It also comes with the option of a rubberized handle, but I like the wooden handle much better though. My other knife is also a Buck knife which i got as a birthday present last year. It is the Omni Hunter with a guthook. It is one badass knife. It comes with a nylon camo sheath, and the knife handle itself fits the contour of my hand very well. It costs around 40 bucks. I thought that was a pretty good deal for a really quality knife. I would check both of those knives out. Hope this helps.

I have a Marbles knife that fits the description. Great knife. Wonderfulbalance of easy to sharpen, but holds an edge for quite awhile.

If you want one that won't break the bank look at the Beretta Loveless hunter.

I have this knife with out the gut hook (drop point). It comes extremely sharp right out of the box and holds an edge exceptionally well. It's very light weight and comes with a leather sheath.

We have them priced at only $50.00.

I have used the Buck Alpha Hunter for two years now and it is a great knife for the money. I went with the black rubberized handle folder and with minimal effort the bladestays shaving sharp.
I need to know how to get the gut hook sharp again, anyone have any ideas?

Good Hunting,
