Hey there Swamp. I personally use a full rubber boot w/ 1400 g of thinsulate. I got them at dicks sporting goods for around $80. I have been using them over 5 seasons now. I love 'em. Warm and waterproof. I hunt in Ohio and Kentucky so we generally get cold wet winters. No complaints.

I use Rocky's 1000 gram. They are plenty warm enough in the coldand still able to use them when it does happen to be warm out.
