Stay with the Hoyt. The Bowtech sounds like a .22 rimfire when it is shot. I had a buddy withe Extreme Solo Samson (80-100pound) blow up on him.

If you want to try a Bowtech, go with the Patriot two cam.

Otherwise, the Hoyts are much better bows.

I would have to disagree with Tax Lawyer. The Bowtech is going to be the better bow. Add a couple of string silencers and riser dampners and that bow will be as quiet as any. Tax Lawyer is comparing apples and oranges, a Samson shooting 80-100lbs is going to make a hell of a pop going off, while a 70lb bow will be much quieter. Take a look at the Patriot for an upgrade, they are super stable in your hand, no recoil, and quiet. Hope this helps.

I have had the Patriot single 70# I currently have the Dually Patriot 60# and have shot the Extreme VFT 70# the replacement for the Extreme Solo.
All are very quite fast bows with very little to no hand shock.
The draw on the EVTF is very smooth with a solid back wall.
The one I shot only had the BT hush kit installed and no stabilizer and was whisper quite.

My '02 Patriot set on 67 pounds and 29 inch draw is quieter than either of the two Mathews MQ1's I had. Although the Mathews were good quality bows, the Patriot is faster and quieter with more accuracy in my hands.
