Fletching jigs
Here's a question for you guys out there that fletch your own arrows. I'm looking for an inexpensivejig to do repairs on my arrows. I buy my arrows custom built so this jig is strictly for repairing any fletchings I damage.
The Bohning jig is only about $25 or so. Is this thing good enough for what I need or is there another I should look into.Any advice will be greatly appreciated. |

RE: Fletching jigs
Cool, I just want an inexpensive jig to do repairs. I just want to make sure I don't waste my money on a poor piece of equipment. If it works well for other archers thats good enough for me.Thanks for the response....:)

RE: Fletching jigs
Any time the words "fletching jig" are mentioned, a bitzenburger fletching jig is mentioned by someone...so why not me? The bitz is pretty expensive at a $70 price tag, but it is definetly worth every penny and probably considered by most to be the jig. I have never used the bohning jig, but I have used the Jo Jan jig that is around that same price as the bohning and the Jo Jan was a great jig.

I forgot to mention I use blazer vanes at a 2 degree offset. Does this make a difference with the average jig? I saw that bohning makes a blazer vane jig,but I read some poor reviews on it.
