Default Jersey 8 pointer story

Guys,
I love to read these stories, so I guess I should post them when I can.
Got in the stand last night around 4:30, beautiful night to hunt light winds from the West. After 5:30 I see 3 does in the field 70 yrds away, I hit the can 3 times just for the heck of it, she looks in my direction and then bolts taking the other 2 with her, 10 minutes later she's downwind 100 yrds away snorting at me!! I say that's great, I should just get down now.
But, you never know,soI stay put, knowing I had close to an hour left.
45 minutes later I hear something coming from behind, I'm sitting with the bow ready waiting to see what side this deer is going to pass on.
I look left, nothing, I look right, nothing, it's still coming right behind/underneath me, I look over the platform directly under my stand, wondering what this deer is, and all I see coming out is this nice 8 point rack. I was waiting for him to bolt because he's right on my entrance trail, buthe calmly checks the scrape 5 yrds away, but he's facing directly away, I stand and he starts walking away, I grunt him to a stop at 10 yrd, but he's still facing away, he starts again , I stop him again, but this time he turns just slightly to the left. I put the trintium pin right on the vitals and release. He bolts running 80 yrds, I hear him crashing in a thcket, I left giving him 2 hrs. When I came back, my buddy and I find him right where I heard him last (death thrash)
