browning illusion

I haven't read much about this bow or any other Browning bow. What do you guys think? Do you shoot one or know of anybody thatdoes? I know they make good rifles but didn't know about bows.

I have one and like it. I bought it a little over a year ago and have had no problems with it. I think it's a 2005 model.

It is quieter than most of the bows that the other guys I shoot with use.

Don't own one but came REAL close to buying one earlier this year, but a little pricey for me at the time. The guys I've talked to that shot them said they were excellent bows, even compared 'em to some of the big boys.

the Illusion put browning back on the map in 2005. I have an '05 model. I would put it up against any bow in its class. A+ bow. I just shot the whole PSE/ Browning lineup yesterday and the new '08 Illusion is even better. still super smooth and dead quiet w/ no vibration. and this year its 10 fps faster!!!

I own a Matthews Switchback XT and had a chance to shoot the browning and hadI seen that bow before the Mathews I would probably be shooting the Browning felt great in my hand shot great felt smooth .
I bought the Switchback after my AR 34 had been stolen and PSE changed the AR and removed the 34 or i would be shooting that bow still ..

I have shot them and they are smooth and quiet. But one of my buddies has had some troubles with his. Cracked limb and the sting wears incredibly fast where it attaches to the cam. But it could be that imparticular bow nothing against browning.

Thanks a lot guys. I may drop to down to one of the cheaper Brownings. I don't shoot a lot. I had thought about a Bear Truth, also. It seems to me, that most of the bows in the $400 and up price range are pretty decent bows over all.
