Default EQUALIZER CLIMBING STAND

Does anyone have one of these? It looks cool and has my attention. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Don't have one, but will next season. My buddy has one and its awesome. I like that fact you can adjust it as the tree narrows.

I have one and love it. The leveling system is great and it feels like it is bolted to the tree when you lock down the stabilizing straps.

I was thinking of getting one and putting the sling seat on it. The regular seat doesn't look that comfortable, but I've never sat in one to judge it. I do like the leveling system they've put on there.

I ordered the sling seat last year. I didn't like it for this stand. Liked it for others, not this one though.

Was it not comfortable? Get in the way? What didn't you like about it?

It just doesn't fit right when you try to stack it for transport.

Ihave an equalizer and also love it. I have read in another post a while back that you can use a summit sling seat on this stand. It will work for backpacking and is very comfortable. There were also pictures of the stand fitted with the summit seat.

You will see my name and avatar in those previous threads.
I have had one of these stands for 2 years now.
Love it!
I have yet to find another stand that once locked down is as secure to the tree as this stand.
Not to mention the ability to level both parts of the stand.

The sling seat is a little harder to pack and carry but worth the effort, in my opinion.
