Bow Strings

I am looking at getting new strings and cables. I am looking at the winners choice but What other good brands are there out there. I like on the winner choice that they are pre stretched but what are the opnion and reviews out there.

They're high quality strings but they're pretty damn spendy. Check out Vapor Trail and of course BuckNasty (aka: Gibblet on here).

I have a new commander by bowtech and I won't be getting a new string this year, but more than likly will next year. How much does a winners choice cost and how much does a string made by bucknasty cost and what are the differences in the two strings performance wise?

You can go to http://www.winnerschoicestrings.com/home1.htmto get an idea about winner's choice. however, the actual price depends on the dealer. Most expensive

You can also go to http://www.vaportrailarchery.com/and order directly from them.

You have to contact gibblet on here to get prices and info on Bucknasty strings.

Winner's choice strings and cables will likely run about $100 a set. They are great, but I've heard gibblet and vapor trail are just as good and not as pricey. I'd probably go with one of them before plunking down another $100. I am completely satisfied with winner's choice, but with such a big fan base for the other twoI don't think spending the extra bucks is necessary.

BuckNasty strings go on every bow I have. John is a great guy just like everyone says. I can't imagine using anything else.

Send your bow to Carter's Archery and have him "crackerize" your bow. He makes his own strings and tunes the bows back to factory specs. He did my Bowtech Allegiance last year. His work is raved about on archerytalk.com and Iowawhitetails.com. Do a search yahoo for Crackerize and see for yourself.

I was in his shop recently and he get's bows from all over the country.
