Cabelas bow bat

Has anyone used one of these? Are they worth 80 bucks? Looks like it would be nice to carry in the front when you are also packing a climber.

I use the Primos bow sling and I am pretty sure that they are on sale at Bass Pro for $14.99. A whole lot cheaper than the cabelas contraption. I have never used one but it seems to me like I would rather use the Primos sling and use the extra money to buy a back pack of some kind. Thats jsut my opinion though.

It is actually made by Game Plan Gear. Cabela's just sells it. I used one last season and like it just fine. They've improved it this year with the covers for the cams; the old style did not have that.

I used mine last year and loved it. I wouldn't tree stand hunt without it. I use a climber primarily and it's great to be able to climb the tree with all your gear on your back. It also provides a great padded back rest and station for your calls and gearwhen you strap it to a tree. I was so impressed with it I ordered their gun version of the pack for use after bow season ends. Look at Game Plan Gear's website and view all the particulars. If you dont mind spending a little extra its a great item.
