Arrow saws

Anybody used the arrow saw made by American Acrchery Products? Has anybody used those mini miter saws to cut arrows?

I use the mini miter saw on old practice arrows. Would not use it on hunting arrows. does not have a true clean square cut on the end. Just my opinion and experience with the mini miter saw.

I a $30 Harbor Freight saw for cutting shafts. I have one rigged up with some spare wood and other parts and it works very well when you cut slowly and rotate that arrow while doing so. I also use a G5 to sqaure up after cutting.

Yes, the G5 is a must have in my opinion. It works awesome to sqaure up edges and inserts. It really helped with my broadhead flight.

If you get on Ebay, there is a seller on there by the same name of American Archery Products. I messaged him a question about something he was selling and he said that they were the original owners of apple archery products. He said that they sold the apple name and re-opened under the name of American Archery Products and was claiming to be the owner. Don't know how acurate and true that is, but take it for what it is worth.

I will have to try the G5 with my mini mitter. Sounds like it works great. Thanks for the info Red Lion.
