The Talons are one of my favorite broadheads. The look like a gimmock, but they sure do tear game apart. The entry and exit holes are huge and the blood trails are great. I cannot say enough good things about them. The older ones were only good for one shot due to the weak blades. The new XTs are said to be much tougher now with their new blades. I hope to find out soon.

I can't speak for the new XT's they might be much improved over the originals, but I never really had good results. I would say that their marketing dept. out performs their broadheads.

These heads flew well; but I didn't see the devastation they claimed. Also I took two deer with them and the blades needed to be replaced after onw pass through shoot.

from what ive heard from local archers they are wicked on the animal and the new blades are way way way stronger and i think the broadhead test guy gave them a top ratting with the new blades
