carbon arrow life

I've been reading some posts here about people getting seriously injured, carbon fibers getting buried in hands and fingers and stuff....

What's the life expenctency of a carbon arrow and how you guys keep from getting broken arrows or accidents ?

The life of a carbon arrow depends on a lot of things starting with quality, the abuse the arrow is put through,etc.

the best way to check your arrows is the bend and twist method, take an arrow hold it by either end then slightly bend it while twisting it if you hear and noise then trash it.
