STS any good??
I was just wondering if the STS string supressors do what they claim, also do they harm your bow?I can't see it being safe after a while because of the abrupt stop.I know you would probably want to serve where the string meets the rubber stop.Any comments on it?Does eliminate the need for cat whiskers or string leaches,and/or give you more speed?

I have one on my Guardian and love it.
This thread might give you some more insight. http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=2238543 |
RE: STS any good??
I recently put one on my Guardian. My string silencers flew off within 100 shots. Only thing on my string is my peep and d-loop. My bow is just as quiet if not quieter with the STS on it. Great product.

RE: STS any good??
I just put one on my Switchback XT and noticed a difference right away. I should have put one on sooner.

RE: STS any good??
I have the MeanV CSS on my BT Tribute. Same as the STS but cheaper in cost and more streamline on the riser.

RE: STS any good??
I have to agree with Masterdiver, if you order the correct size, and the correct matching color to your bow, the MeanV looks like it came from the factory on your bow. I have seen a couple of STS's at the range, they seem to function about the same, just don't look as nice. The MeanV is sweet to say the least. Probably why there have been so many threads on them lately.
