Cabela's stalker extreme and Lazer pro heads.

I like the looks of them. The cost is great! Kind of unbeleavableI know. The shafts already made up are 60 per dozen with a weight diff. of 1.5gpi per doz.and straightness of .003. That's GT XT range, but theses have a micro finish to them.

The heads look just like Thunderheads, but are half the cost. 6 for 19 bucks and the replacement blades are 9.

I'm trying them.

I bought a dozen of the Cabelas Stalker extremes a couple of years ago. The employee told me that they were made by Easton and would shoot the same as my Beaman ICS hunters , which he said were also made by Easton (what I was shooting at the time). He was right, they did!

I was looking at getting some too... first year bowhunting as well as college student... price is an issue. Anyone else shoot these?

My buddy used them last year and took a few deer with them and they worked fine...It just doesn't seem that they are that durable. Both shots were passthroughs and the broadhead was bent to the point that it was unusable. I would rather shoot a head that was all steel instead of one with an aluminum ferrule.

I didn't know that. I think thunderheads are steel. Glad I mentioned it. Thanks for the heads (yuk yuk yuk) up.:D

If you right about the manufactures (something I wondered) I'm happy with that. I thought the finish sounded like a beman product.

I was also looking at the broadheads. They make a 4-blade that is 1 1/4" diameter which I thought was nice. Cheap too, price wise. I think Rocky Mountain makes their heads, could be wrong though.

I shot a couple deer with those broadheads out of my old bow. Never had a deer go an further than 100 yards. They sure don't leave as good of a bloodtrail as the Muzzy 4 blade originals or the MX4s though ;)
