Thunderball nocks

Have you seen them. I don't care for them on principle. Big ball on the string, strike one. Have to use their stuff always, strike 2. And the pic of the set up doesn't show thw vane orientation. It could end up anywhere.

RE: Thunderball nocks

I put this on my bow about a month ago tentatively to try it out. I actually love the system. As long as you put your arrow on and rotate it to where you want it, the orientation stays fine. There is a mark on the knock for that purpose as well. The best part is that the ball will adjust for any torque on the string (where the regular knocks will torque with the string). I find the arrows actually fly straighter (see the NAP website for an explanation on how that happens) too. I guess the real test will come in a little over a month when I can try it out for real.

Worth a try anyways just for a story to tell. :D

I've had them on all summer. No complaints, yet ;). They weigh 24 grains, but that's fine with me as I like a heavier arrow anyways. The little ball on the string hasn't had any noticable negetive effects that I can tell. As a matter of fact, it's tighten my groups.
