prong silencer effect

i am going to buy the teflon prong silencers today and wondered if they will mess up my arrow flight so much that i need to paper tune again. i shoot a spot hogg whammy arrow rest if that matters. they are just a thin tube that goes over the prong so i dont think it will matter alot but it might.

I don't think it will. But it will make a differance in the the hieght that the arrow sits on the rest, even if it is only a 1/16'' of an inch,so you should at least check it. It would not be hard to change just move your nock point accordingly.

so move my nock point up according to the thickness of the silencer?

Well paper tune it and see if it does move, then move your nocking point so you can shoot bullet holes.
