Default Paint on Bow coming off!

I have a fairly new Martin Jaguar, it was purchased in October of 2006. I would'nt consider myself a heavy shooter, maybe 50 shots every week during season and late preseason. The camo finish on my bow is really wearing off on the front of my bow. It appears that my grip hand is removing the finish in the parts where there is no grip. It's to the point where it is shining, im afraid that i could be spotted if the sun hits it right. Is this normal? Should I contact Martin? Your opinions please!

It shouldnt come off like that, the paint is supposed to resist friction wear, but if you scratch it, it will come off... Contact martin or get a limbsavers grip wrap, they have them in camo now too, the tentacle wrap I think they call it.

PAINT WILL CHIP OVER TIME.. NEW BOW SHOULDN'T....BUT THINGS LIKE BUG SPRAY....AND SOME SCENT KILLERS CAN FADE AND WEAR DOWN THE PAINT....IF THAT DOESNT APPLY IN THIS CASE...I WOULD CHECK YOU WARRENTY AND SEE WHAT IT COVERS......GOOD LUCK

ALWAYS........GOOD HUNTING

I had the same thing happen with my bowtech allegiance. I just figured it was cause I shot it alot. I probably put somewhere around 4 to 5000 arrows through it before season started. Nothing a little flat spray paint wont fix, just make sure it airs out before season.

Well, I called Martin today and spoke to customer service. They asked me what I wanted them to do for me and I said that I would like there new thermal elite grip sent out to me. This grip wraps all the way around the bow and would cover most of the worn off paint. Sure enough they said no problem. They didn't seem very suprised about my problem though. Heres a link to the new grip:
