whisker biscuit ok?

hey,
i was talking to my buddy about buying a new bow, and on it comes a whisker biscuit. but he said over time that will wreck the vanes of my arrows, and that i should get a drop-away arrow rest instead. so is this true? or would it be an unnesesary purchase?

The WBcan behard on some kinds of fletchings and most of us that use the WB also use the blazer vanes and you won't distroy a blazer shooting through the WB. The WB and blazers are a deadly combo!

You will have better accuracy at longer distance with a drop away.

With blazers you wont have to worry about it. Use the whisker buscuit, its a great rest.
