Why....
does Muzzy not carry a 125gr MX broadhead????
I just upgraded to 125grs and I want a short profiled head. |
RE: Why....
Instead of wishing you had an aluminum copy just get the original 100% steel Slick Trick.

RE: Why....
Funny you should say that. I am purchasing Slicks for this season.
I can't wait to get them and my arrows bloody. |
RE: Why....
I'm sorry. But Muzzy has been around a lot longer than Slicktrick and the Muzzy isn't a copy of anything. Well, it's a copy of the original Muzzy, just shorter. The slicktricks will have to be around for a long long time to equal the amount of game killed by the Muzzy's.
I don't use the midget blades. My original Muzzy 125 grdo the job quite well.:D edited after shooting under severe conditions!!! Well, I found a situation where the full Muzzy's have a problem and they will now be replaced after 15 years of good service. [&:] Shooting in a high crosswind at 30 yds out of my new bow the Muzzy's where zigzaging all over the place due to the high wind. At 20 with no wind they shot like darts the week before. So, they're officially getting retired and I'm going to switch to the shorties after shooting my dad's NAP crossfires under the same conditions. They hit and flew great even in high wind. |
RE: Why....
Muzzy vs. Slicks:
Both are 4 blade (Muzzy's do have a 3 blade model) Muzzy's blade thickness is 0.20" to 0.25" Slicks are 0.035" Muzzy's cutting is 1-3/16" to 1-1/8" Slicks are 1" to 1-1/8" Muzzy's Ferrule is Aluminum. Slicks Ferrule is Steel. Anybody know the overall length? |
