RE: Targets
when it comes to targets it is what you play for is what you get.

RE: Targets
In a 3D deer target, I have a Rinehart Broadhead buck target and it is holding up quite well. My brother in law has a Block 4 dot target and when I shot at it the other day, my field tipped arrow almost broke completely through the center dot at 20 yards. I would look at the Rinehart 18-1 target, looks like a good one, and the one I will get next to replace the Block target we are currently using.

RE: Targets
If it is going to be just for broadheads the morrell yellow jacket is really good,i would notshoot your field points into it though they have a tendancy to be difficult to pullout.

I like the black whole target. It is meant to be shot with layers lying vertically. I think targest with their layers vertical last a little longer

RE: Targets
I've got a couple of Morrell's Yellowjacket series (one for field points, one for broadheads) that have held up unbelievably well to thousands and thousands of arrow this year, as well as one of their Bionic Bucks. Incredible 3D deer target; it's got a bag midsection and true one-finger arrow removal.

RE: Targets
What about McKenzie?
I have a cheap layered McKenzie that has held up well. So I'm thinking the new ones with "welded core" construction will hold up pretty well. Anyone have any experience with these? ![]() |
