Cabelas Silent Weave Predator

I don't know if anyone owns these but Cabelas is selling a line of camo in the Silent Weave line that uses Predator Camouflage. Great prices too. I think I might order it soon. Does anyone have any input on this?

I think ghemry (OK, germ) said he used to work at Cabela's and had looked at that fabric and wasn't super impressed with it... I'm going from memory though, so you may want to PM him.

Germ just bought a Predator Deception suit in the Cabela's silent weave material.

I was thinking of ordering the same set but was torn between ordering the insulated and uninsulated jacket. I'm leaning toward the uninsulated a little too big so I could layer with long underwear top, long sleeve tee, and heavy sweat shirt during cold November hunts in Minnesota. However, I'm not sure that would keep me warm late season. So maybe I'll just have to buy one insulated and one uninsulated. My wife would like that. Thoughts on which jacket to choose?

This is exactly how I do it, and have never had a problem down to the 'teens sitting on stand.

Greg, thanks! BTW, nice review on the Summit Hot Dot sight. I considered getting one but my trusty pro shop manager talked me into getting an Extreme Archery RT900 sight. What a difference compared to the no-name beginner sight that came with my bow package a few years ago. I was shooting tight groups consistently with it at 20 and 30 yards almost right away. Pins are much brighter and nice for low light. But I'll keep that Summit in mind should I get going on a second bow here in a year or two.

Nothing wrong with the RT's... I've gotthree of them on some of my other bows. ;)

Also Greg. I'm torn between the brown deception and the fall grey they offer. I hunt mostly Minnesota hardwoods. Both look like they'd work great but Predator site says fall grey would be tough to beat for woodland hunts. Which would you choose if you had to pick one for now?
