SME vs. Impact Cosmic
 

Anyone seen the SME version?? I'm not sure of the model name but I saw one at a shop yesterday and it looks nearly identical for much cheaper. It was slightly smaller but came in the fixed and slider models just like the Cosmic. They didn't carry the cosmic, so I couldn't do a side by side. The only thing is the Pro shop guy said they (SME)were having financial troubles, but didn't elaborate. Anyone else seen these???

Trushot, I looked at the SME sights. They're well made and appear to be nice pieces. I had the Cosmic Lite already. The pin is brighter on the Cosmic. Both are durable and compact. If you want a very bright pin, you won't find one brighter than the Cosmic. I hadn't heard about money problems at SME. That seems to be the standard comment on lots of archery companies lately.
