Just got it on my lunch break. Initial impression is holy cow the pins are bright. This is going on a 3D specific bow so I am going to have to find a way to tame the pins down a bit, it is too bright for 3D as it sits now. It is so bright, the pins blur a bit almost. I may have to find a way to cover up the fiber wrap a bit to use this the way I want. Fit and finish looks pretty good as well. More thoughts and pictures later tonight when I get home from work.

Congrats Rick. The only chance Ive had to shoot mine was on a clowdy day and didnt have any troubles with the pins being too bright. I do agree with you that they are bright, alot brighter than what I expected with as little fiber as they have. I imagin a little mole skinover the pin guard would tame them down a bit. I use mine primarily for 3-D also, I just switch it on my hunting rig. Not furtunate enough to have a 3-D specific rig yet. Good luck and hope you enjoy your new toys.

Maybe a couple wraps of electrical tape around the sight housing. It won't look pretty but it should cut down on some light transmission.

Mine is in the mail today so I just be able to play with it this weekend.

Well I still haven't been able to shoot with the sight. I am still waiting on cams and a string for the bow this sight is going to be used for. I did managed to take the sight apart and remove 2x of the pins. I ordered a 6 pin model because I plan to shoot some of the local events this year in open class to help me get better at judging distance at the longer distances. I wanted to have the extra pins on hand but don't plan to shoot it that way often. I now have it setup with green/orange pins.

To say removing the pins was difficult would be an understatement. This thing is quite the contraption. It works and is designed well but if you are not mechanically inclined then order the sight with the pin arrangement you want rather than taking pins out or adding them in later. The micro adjust is smooth, and works well. Each pin, 3rd axis, and gang adjustment for windage and elevation for the whole pin guard assembly are worm drive/micro adjust and work flawlessly. Fit and finish is good, not as nice as say a spot hogg but is still very nice. I really like how 3rd axis is adjusted, that is done to the bubble itself by a worm drive microadjust setup.......very slick and reminds me of the Mag Sight 3rd axis.

Overall for the guy that wants a sight that will be used primarily for hunting and for an occasional 3D shoot and has to have micro adjust everything this is a perfect fit and I still think it is the best micro adjust sight out there. My god the thing is bright too.......if I end up using this for 3D it will need to be tamed down some how because it is simply too bright for tiny pin gaps........so bright they almost get fuzzy and I can see myself not seeing fine detail on a target because of this. I may fabricate some sort of velcro strip that goes around the fiber wrap system that can come off if need be.

That looks like a very precise sight. Well built.
The pins are the type I like, inbedded fibers insteel.

Thanks Guys, Red Boar, have you had good Luck with ordering from mc discount? I tried Lancaster and they are all out until the 16th, they do have the 6 pin in stock but that is to many pins for me.

Hey bwhunter...I contacted them yesterday. The sights are indeed on backorder, although he assures me that they expect them any day. ;)
