For 5shot

Hey Chris.
If my memory serves me correct you had the magnocs and posted a report on them a while back.

Are you still using them and after using them for a while what are your thoughts on them now??

I did not use them for hunting season. When I tried them out it was to close to the opener to change anything on my hunting bow. I plan on playing around with them some more soon. Basicly I found them to be true to the advertising. They do add weight to your arrow, but the down range "drop" compared to the same arrow without the system is the same, and maybe a bit less. They save on serving wear, and do aid in accuracy with smaller fletching and broadheads. 3" fletches would control a broadhead where it took 4" with conventional nocks to do the same. I understand that a lot of people are using them for competion shooting. I think the system has a lot going for it, I am not sure how much the average hunter would benifit, but I really can't see any drawbacks and thier are a lot of positives. I will see if I can find the report I wrote and repost it for you.

I'd like to add my opinion of the Magnock. They are terrific. The first generation receiver was a bit larger than desirable, but the new Pro1 is smaller, and lighter, making it perfect, in my opinion.

I think they have increased my accuracy quite a bit. I went from shooting 2" groups at 20 to 1-1.5" groups within a week of installing the system.

Give them a try.

A lot of people are using them on the indoor & 3-D ranges now. They seem to perform well & are scoring really high. I knwo an archer who uses them in the UK and he is one of the top rated over their. I woudl say they have to do work to post some of his scores!
