We sell a TON of these packs. I used one last year in rain and snow during elk season. My stuff never got wet.

Thanks Scott for this review! I like the looks of both the Hatchback and the GutHook a lot. I do have a question about the Hatchback. What is the flat panel on the back of the main big compartment? Is it just for support? I couldn't find any pics that clarified this for me.

I love the loops on the zippers!! I can't stand hearing the metal ones clicking as I'm walking.
