I like Alpine, used to sell 'em in my shop and shoot them some as well. I have to say they had one common problem that was still present last fall. The string coming off the cam. I saw it happen again on AWay Outdoors show over the weekend. Not sure if it was an 06 model or a prototype of the new one.

I haven't shot one or even seen one in person to give an opinion and was really thinking about getting one until a freind of mine that used to own a shop told me to stay away from them. I really didn't ask him why after that. Maybe it's the cam issue that way2easy mentioned.

He didn't make a comment like that about any other bow manufacturer that I asked him about.

I shot it at the ATA and was quite impressed. But, that's only about 10 shots, so take it for what its worth.

I have just finished 7 weeks of 5 spot with my Silverado and finished with a 58.25 average of X. This is a fine shooting bow you would be making a big mistake if you don't shoot this bow. I will shoot with anyone at anytime anystyle and win or hold my own.... See you at Buckmasters next week or Louisville KY for nationals.
