RE: Looking for smooth shooting bow

BOWTECH or DIAMOND!! Trust me you will not be dissapointed. Smoothest bow on the market! I have a 26.5" draw length and shoot 58# with ease. I can pick up a Bowtech set at 29" @ 60+# and pull it back and I am only 5'3". I have never been able to pull back any other bow at 29" because by the time it starts to roll over I cant pull it any more. This is how smooth they are. Be sure when you shoot one-they have a smooth cam installed-the speed cam isnt as smooth.
Good luck!

Diamond Black Ice or if you can find one, a Bowtech Guardian. Both are great shooters and have very little if any hand shock. My groups before these bows were good but it's uncommon now for my arrows not to be touching while shooting.

Look for a single cam bow. Some recommendations under $700 include:

Any of the Ross CRs, Diamond Liberty, various used Matthews bows.

You got a Martin? Then try the Bengal or Pantera with the M-Pro cam. It's noted for it's smoothness.

One hint of advice. A smooth bow is one with the weight (poundage) turned or adjusted to what you can handle with ease. It's not always a matter of spending a lot of money on the latest and greatest smooth cam bow. Depending on what you're hunting there isn't any deer that 50-55 lbs won't handle. Make it easy on yourself.

My BowTech Guardian has the least amount of hand shock of any bow that I have ever shot.

It was so smooth that it caused me to switch brands.
