RE: what sights?????

NO Trophy Ridge. Try the Cobra Sidewinder LX or the Extreme RT900. I just got the Sidewinder LX on my new bow and love it....The pins are veryyyyyyyyy bright

Check out the Fuse sights. I have been really looking into them and am most likely going to slap one on my bow soon.

I have a sidewinder LX 5 pin, with the extension on it. I absolutely love it. I wouldn't use any other sight. My brother also has the same sight, and one of our huntin buddies has the Sidewinder on both of his setups too.

Its a great sight and very affordable.

I have the vipor on my tribute.. it didn't cost that much and the sight came with the light and the pins are very bright. I think it was like 70.00. Works great. I have shot to 50 yards with it without a problem...

Spot Hogg...you can run over them with a truck practically and would hold up.

I just got the RT900 and it's a light and compact sight. I am happy with it, but I'm changing the fibers to the Fitz. Microtune would be nice, but I don't adjust it that much. So it doesn't really matter. Check out my post in the tech section.

Nothing wrong with TrophyRidge Sights. I have one and love it. The next one I will try is one of the HHA sights, my brother in law has one on his bow and loves it.

Here ya go...this is what I use and it's better than the Extreme, has a lifetime guarantee and includes a light.

RE: what sights?????

I suggest giving the Trophy Ridge sight a try. I have a TR Matrix, and it is awesome. Their vertical pin design offers a big sight window. If you have never shot a vertical pin sight, then it will take a little getting use to. If you still can not make up your mine, then go to your local shop and ask to shot some of the other sights they may have on their bows at the shop. This could be another option in helping you find what you like. Hope this helps

I have to agree with Tbyrd!! I like the verticalpin sites that TR makes.

I just got the Vectrix xl and after a lot lof looking I went with the extreme rt and really like it other than the sight being a little on the small side. very nice sight though and the realtree hd green is a perfect match to the vectrix.

RE: what sights?????

The new '07 Trophy Ridge sights are awesome! Better than ever and extremely well thought out designs. Now each pin features it's own fiber spool and it's a rock solid bomb-proof ALL metal design. I even like the new Hush Kit supplied with all the Guide Series. Check out the new TR X and AX series. Wether it's the new angled pin design or the new Vertical pin model, these sights are going to be very popular this season.

I like Spot-Hogg.

RE: what sights?????

I have found that Trophy Ridge pins are too weak for making adjustments in the cold. Also, I have had two pins break while out in the field.

I recommend Cosmic Ring. Their pins are some of the brightest on the market and are encased by metal from the base of the pin all the way to the tip. No loose hanging fiber optics on that sight.

Good Luck!

Copper John's new Dead Nuts. They are just starting to ship them now but I have seen one and WOW are they nice. I got the competition model on order for my new target rig. Gonna get me this one for my hunting rig as soon as I can find them.

I like that copper john sight .. very nice. How much is the sight? I checked out the copper john website and was unable to find a price on the "Dead Nuts 2 Supreme."

I was going to go with a spot hogg until I saw this sight!!!!

Cracka,

I think that one is going for about 134.99 (think that is the supreme w/ micro adjust everything), and I believed the one with the extension bar runs about 154.99 or so, I saw them on archeyexperts.com, I am pretty sure these are accurate prices, said they would be available in march. They do appear very very nice and reasonably priced as well. Here is the link, hope it works for ya:

Cracka - living1512 is right. I got the comp sight ordered from Lancaster Archery Supply and I think it was 154.99. The are saying it should be in sometime this week so maybe by next week I will have it. Anyway it is a great sight for the money. I have seen others for much more that are not as nice.

Do you know ifthere isany way to get the dead nuts 2 micro with .019 fibers? The DN 2 micro is one step below the Supreme and is much more favorable on my pocket at $85.00. I'll be using the sight for hunting and target/3-D shooting.

The micro is listed as having .029 fiberswhile the supreme is listed as having .019 fibers.

I just picked up the Cobra Sidewinder Radiant and put it on my Switchback XT. I love it. Seems very durable. Bright sight pins, and I have never seen pins glow that much w/ a light.
