What ever happened to High Country
Several years ago these bows were all the rage here locally.
Just out of curiosity I went out to their website and I was surprised to see that they are now making arrows. They claim that their arrows will increase your current arrow speed by anywhere from 30 to 150 fps. I find that very hard to believe. Maybe it can. Anyone have any experience with these arrows or hear about them? Curious more than anything. I'm quite happy with my goldtips at the present time. |
RE: What ever happened to High Country
They've recently been merged with or taken over by Newberry. They've made those ultra-light arrows for several years. Many, if not most, bow companies won't warranty their bows if you shoot arrows that light. High Country, naturally, does for their bows.

Wow, shows you how much out of the loop I have been lately. I did not know they merged.
...and I agree about the ultralight arrows they produce. I would not shoot something tha weighed 5 grains per inch (asopposed to 5 grains per pound of draw weight). |
RE: What ever happened to High Country
We had a few of their arrows through our shop but they are pretty delicate.

They now have one the hottest bows out for 2007 called the "Iron Mace" rated at 340 IBO with Barnsdale limbs and Winners Choice strings and a Binary type cam system. They are now back in the game with quality products.
